A while ago, Dennis Jones emailed me his ‘Rolling Pin’ along with a brief description about an initiative of an art program of his. Hurray! People care about art! Good work, keep it up!
“Thanks and good luck. I’m restarting an art outreach program. It’s similar to what you’re doing in that it’s directed at people who never did art before. We found they seem to create the most imaginative and original images with just the briefest of direction when limiting them to some colored markers, pentels and crayons. Ask them to draw a butterfly, or sunset, or flower and they can come up with these beautiful images. We apply them to custom calendars, greeting cards, wall hangings and the like that everyone can share. Our mission is to build a sense of community through the arts.-“
